Wadjda

Wadjda is a 10-year-old girl who resides in a Riyadh neighborhood. Riyadh is the capital of Saudi Arabia. Wadjda is continually pushing the boundaries of what she can get away with, despite the fact that she lives in a conservative environment. After a fight with her buddy Abdullah, a neighborhood boy with whom she shouldn't play, Wadjda spots a gorgeous green bicycle for sale. She desires the bicycle passionately in order to defeat Abdullah in a race. But Wadjda's mother refuses, fearing repercussions from a society that views bicycles as a threat to a woman's virtue. So Wadjda decides to attempt to raise the funds on her own...
