Vagabond
The body of Mona Bergeron was discovered in a ditch in the countryside of France, partially frozen and in a state of decomposition. The movie then jumps back in time to the weeks leading up to her passing after this point. These flashbacks show Mona's slow fall as she moves from one location to another, working odd jobs and staying with whoever will let her crash on their couch. Mona is a fiercely independent woman who values freedom more than she does comfort; nonetheless, it is this drive to be free that will ultimately be the cause of her downfall.
