Underground
Marko and Blacky, two black marketeers in WWII Belgrade, manufacture and sell weapons to the Communist resistance while living the high life. Marko's bizarre deception propels him up the Communist Party's ranks, and he eventually abandons Blacky and snatches his girlfriend. The couple resurfaces during the Yugoslav Civil War of the 1990s, after a lengthy stay in a below-ground refuge, as Marko thinks the situation is ripe for exploitation.
