Turu, the Wacky Hen

Turu, the Wacky Hen narrates the narrative of a creature that, because to her outlandish looks, is ridiculed by the other hens in the henhouse. The story is told in the form of a love song to diversity. Isabel, a former music teacher, is unafraid of her wiry legs and featherless back, which she attributes to her being "exceptional." Turuleca does not lay eggs because she has a hidden gift that she uses to express herself: she speaks, sings, and dances while giving it her all. Turu, the Wacky Hen is a full-color, animated party that invites us to move our bodies to its musical numbers, forcing us to sing phrases that have the ability to transform us back into children, if only for a brief while.
