In order to prevent the tons of explosives on board from going off, a passenger airliner that is currently carrying 800 people is being forced to fly at a high speed and at a low altitude while passing over agricultural areas, suburban areas, and densely populated cities. When an elite unit of fighter jets from the United States Air Force is dispatched to give escort, they discover that they are up against a squadron of unknown warplanes, which sparks a lethal air warfare that threatens to wipe out all life in the atmosphere and on the ground below.
