Tomorrow's a New Day
The actor Giuliano had a bittersweet experience with his longtime friend and fellow theater performer Tommasso when the latter pays him an unannounced visit. Giuliano's declining health and his decision to reject therapy prompted their reunion, which is the first time they have seen each other in a significant amount of time. Instead, he is concentrating on getting his affairs in order, which includes dividing up his things, settling any disagreements from the past, and, most importantly, locating a new home for his cherished dog, Pato. Over the course of four days, the two men take a stroll around the streets of Rome, during which they pay a visit to various places such as bookshops, restaurants, vets, and friends, during which they reflect on their lives and speculate about what the future may contain.
