It's a risky job for Jon, an international security agent, to take a criminal scientist to another country. On the way, one of his team members turns out to be a traitor and shoots Jon in the head while taking the scientist hostage. In the hospital, when Jon wakes up, a doctor says that in a few weeks, the bullet in his brain will make him completely paralyzed. Jon goes back to Beijing to see his mother. She tells him that Jon has a brother in Malaysia who was raised by his father, a gambler, and that Jon has a brother in China. Jon takes a flight to Malaysia in order to find his brother, Yeung, who lives there. His friendship with Dr. Kan grows on the plane, and she promises to look into possible treatments for his illness when he gets off. Yeung tried to kidnap the doctor when they arrived, but when Jon tried to stop him, he was taken hostage as well. The two soon find out that they are brothers, and they decide to work together to stop the criminals who are behind the kidnappings from spreading a disease that was thought to be over.
