The Truth
In court, Dominique Marceau is charged with the murder of Gilbert Tellier. Counselors keep fighting over why the pretty, lazy, and fickle girl killed the talented and ambitious conductor who just graduated from the conservatory. Was it because of passion, vengeance, desperation, or because of an accident? Gilbert's friends and former lovers, as well as Dominique's sister, Annie, the violinist who is engaged to Gilbert, say that he is a good person.
