Clarice Starling excels in the FBI's training academy. Dr. Hannibal Lecter is a brilliant psychiatrist who is also a dangerous psychopath spending life in prison for various crimes of murder and cannibalism, and Jack Crawford wants Clarice to interview him. Crawford feels Lecter may have information on a case, and that Starling, as a beautiful young woman, is the perfect bait to entice him out.
