The Secret of the Grain
With a heavy heart, Mr. Slimani, a fatigued 60-year-old, drags himself to a shipyard job in Sète. In spite of the schisms and tensions that financial hardships often exacerbate, he stays close to his family. Life has been difficult for him lately, and he feels useless and a failure. He wants to run his own restaurant and escape it all. But, considering his meagre, intermittent salary, it appears unattainable. But he may still fantasize and discuss it with his loved ones. A family that gradually supports this project that symbolises hope for a brighter future. This dream becomes a reality...or almost... thanks to its creativity and dedication.
