The Pigeon
With his sister and brother, Yusuf is a youngster who lives on the outskirts of Adana with his family. He cares for his father's pigeons, which he feeds and raises on the roof of the house where they dwell. The pigeon Maverdi, with whom he shares a special affinity, is one of his most beloved companions. It's his brother that makes him work and earn money. Work and the reality of his community await Yusuf, the pigeon farmer who has never set foot outside of his pigeon-filled rooftop home.
