The Photographer of Mauthausen

Francesc Boix, a Spanish photographer imprisoned at the Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp, is a member of the SS Photographic Service. Between 1943 and1945, he conceals thousands of negatives with the assistance of other prisoners in order to demonstrate to the liberated world the Nazis' atrocities, which are carefully recorded. He will testify in the Nuremberg Trials in a pivotal capacity.
