Following the reading of an elderly Jewish man's suicide diary, freelance journalist Peter Miller begins to look into the alleged sighting of a former SS-Captain who commanded a concentration camp during WWII. Miller eventually becomes involved with ODESSA, a powerful organization of former SS members, as well as the Israeli secret service. Miller digs deeper and discovers a connection between the SS-Captain, ODESSA, and his own family.
