The Legend of the Holy Drinker
Andreas Kartak, a homeless man who lives under the bridges of Paris, is loaned 200 francs by an anonymous stranger on the condition that he agrees to reimburse the money to a local church when he is able. Kartak is determined to repay his obligation, but circumstances, as well as his drunkenness, conspire to keep him from doing so.
