The Legend of Billie Jean
Billie Jean Davy, an ordinary Texas adolescent, finds herself embroiled in an unusual legal battle. She is frequently followed and harassed by neighborhood boys, who, one day, decide to wreck her brother's scooter just for kicks and laughs. Despite repeated requests, the boys' father will not reimburse them for the cost of the scooter. The quest for "fair is fair" leads the teenagers all throughout the state, and it results in the creation of an unlikely heroine.
