With the exception of his shadowy Middle Eastern employers, everyone else is unaware that watchmaker Hawkins is actually a professional hired assassin who prefers to blow up his targets using nuclear weapons. As a result of his success in taking out a dictator and a multimillionaire, Hawkins is now ordered to kill a politician who is on his way to a distant hotel known as "The Green Man" to have a secret tryst with his secretaries. Hawkins' plot, on the other hand, is uncovered by vacuum salesman William Blake, who is determined to put a stop to him.
