Humanity's future hangs in the balance after a Tibetan youngster, known as the mysterious Golden Child, is kidnapped by the villainous Sardo Numspa. Thousands of miles away, in Los Angeles, the priestess Kee Nang searches for the Chosen One, who will save the boy from certain death. Despite the fact that he is skeptical about being "selected," Nang approaches social worker Chandler Jarrell about his capacity to locate missing children after seeing him on television explaining his abilities to do so.
