The Empty Hours

This is the second film from Aarón Fernández. It is a joint project between Spain, Mexico, and France. It was shown at the 60th Festival. Sebastián, 17, has to run his uncle's motel in Veracruz, Mexico, on his own. He rents rooms by the hour, and he has to do it all by himself. That's how he meets a regular customer who goes there to wait for a lover who often comes late, which leads to a brief game of seduction between the two of them, which they both enjoy.
