Professional baduk (go) player Tae-seok loses a high-stakes game to infamous underground gambler Sal-soo, and as a result, he is falsely accused of the murder of his own brother and imprisoned in a maximum-security jail. As a form of retaliation, he exercises extremely hard. The following year, he reconnects with "Tricks," a hermit and blind master player, as well as Mok-su, a skilled junkyard owner, and together they devise a strategy to get revenge on Sal-soo and his crew. After quietly infiltrating Sal-inner soo's circle and his gambling den, Tae-seok eliminates one by one each of Sal-lieutenants soo's and employees. Sal-soo, on the other hand, finds Tae-true seok's identity and challenges him to a last game that will determine the fates of the two characters involved.
