The Cat and the Canary

Cyrus Norman's will, written ten years after his death, will be read aloud to his six relatives, including Joyce Norman and Wally Campbell. Crosby, Norman's lawyer, organizes the six to meet at Norman's eerie New Orleans Gothic mansion. The superstitious housekeeper declares that someone will die by midnight during the reading. When Joyce is declared the sole heir, Wally is concerned, but everyone is concerned when Crosby is discovered dead.
