The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

Bruno befriends Shmuel, a youngster who lives on the other side of the fence where everyone appears to be wearing striped pajamas, after his family moves from their home in Berlin to a strange new house in Poland. Bruno embarks on a perilous expedition inside the camp's gates, unaware of Shmuel's plight as a Jewish prisoner or the role his own Nazi father plays in his detention.
