Cao crowns himself King of Wei several years later, after acquiescing to the Han Emperor. He constructed a magnificent Bronze Sparrow Island to demonstrate his might, and speculations circulated that he might become the Emperor. Meanwhile, Mu Shun (Hiroshi Tamaki) and Ling Ju (Liu Yi-Fei) are taken from a prison camp to an underground tomb, where they spend five torturous years training as assassins for a secret mission. Astronomical indicators foretell significant change in the year 220 BC. As a result, Cao Pi (Yau Sam-Chi) and Cao's friends urge Cao to succeed his father as Emperor - but unknown opposing forces conspire against him.
