While David Chiang and his brother Ti Lung were reunited in Bangkok for the first time since their years of separation, the mafia was out to get them after Ti Lung's victory over their hometown's favorite boxer in the first film, Duel of Fists. When the brothers are confronted with a Japanese mob commanded by crime leader Yamaguchi, who is played by the film's director, Chang Cheh, in a rare on-screen cameo, the action switches from Bangkok to Hong Kong to Japan, and then back to Hong Kong.
