Finding a common language in such a country would be even more difficult. An Afghan National Army (ANA) company was accompanied by the directors of this video during a year of combat deployment in Helmand. It is difficult to pay the soldiers because they are paid infrequently, there aren't enough supplies, and their equipment is subpar. They will be unable to fight a battle with the equipment that the ISAF has left behind.
