Something strange has taken hold of the earth. The kingdom is in decline. People are starting to behave strangely... What's more bizarre is that people are starting to see dragons, which shouldn't be in the human world. Ged, a travelling magician, is exploring the reason of all these strange occurrences. During his travels, he meets Prince Arren, a young disturbed adolescent lad. While Arren appears to be a meek little boy, he possesses a serious dark side that offers him strength, wrath, brutality, and has no mercy, especially when it comes to protecting Teru. This is an excellent opportunity for the witch Kumo. She can use the boy's "fears" against Ged, the one person who can help him.
