Tiny Fox-Collier and her son, Tony, are unable to pay their bills. Tony, a cheerful and attractive young man about town, thinks he can rely on his mother to come up with a brilliant idea that will save them from complete destitution. A visit to the Irish country seat of her old flame Sir Richard Furze, who is now a wealthy widower with two daughters, is organized for her. However, while Tiny is determined to see her son marry the gorgeous but conceited Joan, it appears that Tony has his sights set on Joan's feisty younger sister, Baby, instead.
