Rebecca has lived on a farm in South Dakota for most of her life. When she goes to college in Los Angeles, she feels out of place in the big city right away. She makes friends with a smart party animal named Crawl, who convinces Rebecca, who isn't sure if she wants to stay or go, to stay in the city. When Thanksgiving break comes, Rebecca, who is no longer a sweet farm girl, invites Crawl back to South Dakota, where he pretends to be her fiance.
