In the early 1990s, Zheng Wei, 18, enters her university life full of hope for love. She builds strong bonds with her housemates and they embark on their academic lives together. Wei meets Chen Hao-Zheng by happenstance and, despite his initial reluctance, accepts Wei as his girlfriend. After four years of academic life, Wei is ready to have a family with Chen. But Chen must leave Wei. Wei, devastated, chooses to start over. A decade later, Wei's former loves Lin and Chen reappear in her life, forcing her to make a choice about her future.
