Warren Stantin, an FBI agent seeking a crafty murderer who has vanished into the steep mountains of the Pacific Northwest, must swap familiar city streets for unfamiliar wilderness pathways. Stantin is obliged to solicit the help of skilled tracker Jonathan Knox, who is completely out of his element. When Sarah, Knox's girlfriend, is kidnapped by the killer, the two must maintain a tense but essential relationship in order to survive.
