G.T. Benz, a veteran of the Vietnam War and recent widower, attempts to deal with the issues of aging and loneliness while being harassed by an aggressive robocaller. His existence is only lightened of its monotony and annoyances by a weekly reunion with his old Vietnam comrades, all of whom are former fighter pilots. He eagerly anticipates a visit from his daughter "Tricia," whom he described as "my only reason for existing." His desire to see her at least one more time is heightened by his physician's dire prognosis. Tricia delays her visit to G.T. because she is ignorant of his health. Meanwhile, a Vietnam comrade dies as robocalls intensify. G.T.'s life is thrown into upheaval and he is forced to a desperate deed when a manipulative woman from his past resurfaces.
