Raiders!: The Story of the Greatest Fan Film Ever Made
In 1982, three 11-year-olds in Mississippi decided to remake Raiders of the Lost Ark, which was their favorite movie. Seven tumultuous years pushed the bounds of their bond and nearly set fire to their mother's home. By the end, they had finished all of the scenes except one: the scene where the plane blows up. They attempt to realize their childhood fantasy 30 years later by constructing a 75-foot replica of the "Flying Wing" plane from Raiders in a mud pit in the backwoods of Mississippi, only to destroy it. This is the story of how "the greatest fan film ever made" was put together.
