Dr. Jill Peterman had the highest-rated call-in radio show when Alexis committed suicide on-air. Dr. Jill went away from her show, shaken to her core, saying she would never return. That is, until Stuart, the station's General Manager, begs her to restart the show in order to resurrect the station's popularity. Still disturbed by what happened, Jill decides to assist her friend, believing that this will be the ideal solution to her year-long uneasiness. As Jill returns to her show, mysterious call-ins begin to appear, leading her to suspect there is a copycat on the loose.
