Purgatory Road
Having been unable to stop a thief from taking his father's small nest egg, Travis grows up blaming himself for his parents' death. With his brother, Michael, he becomes a priest who runs a highway confessional. He gives wise advice to sinners who have been chosen, but he punishes those who haven't changed their ways. People who don't like each other meet Mary Francis, who is deranged and has psychotic tendencies. She kills someone who is trying to find out about the siblings, who aren't very holy. With gratitude, Travis lets the woman into their sacred world, which starts a chain of events that could break the brothers' bloody, long-term relationship.
