Porco Rosso
Miyazaki's sixth feature picture, Porco Rosso (Kurenai no Buta in Japan), was released in 1992 as Hayao Miyazaki's Crimson Pig. During World War I, an Italian fighter ace became a bounty hunter, seeking "air pirates" in the Adriatic Sea. Inflicted by a curse that transformed him into a pig, he now wears pig ears. Porco Rosso, or "Red Pig" in Italian, was once known as Marco Pagot.
