Two geriatric fighters in Los Angeles receive a call from a promoter in Las Vegas informing them that his undercard competitors for a Mike Tyson fight that evening are suddenly unavailable. He desires that they box each other. They concur so long as the victor has a crack at the middleweight championship. Grace, Cesar's current girlfriend and Vinnie's ex-girlfriend, drives them to Las Vegas.
