Mr. Meacham, an elderly woodcarver, has been entertaining local children for years with tales about a fearsome dragon who dwells deep in the Pacific Northwest woods. These legends are nothing more than tall tales to his daughter, Grace, who works as a forest warden... until she meets Pete, a mysterious 10-year-old who claims to dwell in the woods with a big, green dragon named Elliott.
