Paradise: Hope

Melanie, a 13-year-old girl, is the protagonist of Hope, the third film in the PARADISE TRILOGY. Melanie spends her vacation in the Austrian countryside at a stringent diet camp for overweight teenagers while her mother (Teresa) travels to Kenya. The adolescents try to practice sports during the day while surreptitiously getting drunk in the evening under the watch of a tattooed trainer and a frightening doctor. Melanie falls in love with the doctor who is 40 years her senior through physical education and diet counseling, pillow fights, and her first cigarette.
