Pandora and the Flying Dutchman
Albert Lewin's take on the story of the Flying Dutchman. Hendrick van der Zee, the mysterious captain of a yacht, shows up in Esperanza, a small port in Spain in the 1930s (he is the only one aboard). Her name is Pandora, and she is a beautiful woman (who men kill and die for). In the past, she hasn't really been in love with any man. But she's very attracted to Hendrick. A lot of things are said about the Flying Dutchman soon. Hendrick is the 17th-century Dutchman, and he was cursed by God to sail the seas for eternity unless someone willing to die for him can be found.
