Once I Was a Beehive

Lane Speer, 16, spends her summers camping with her family. She takes the memories for granted until her father succumbs to cancer. A year later, as Lane is still grieving her father's death, her mother remarries a stranger. Worse, he's a Mormon. To top it off, they send her to a Bible-themed girls camp with other young Mormon girls while they are on their honeymoon. She tries to cope with her new circumstances and her father's death while recalling family camping trips.
