Ice Cube reprises his role as Craig Jones, a streetwise man from South Central Los Angeles who has a proclivity for getting himself and others into difficulties. When Craig returns for a second appearance, he is keen to outwit neighborhood bully Debo (Tommy "Tiny" Lister Jr.); after Craig defeats Debo in a fist battle, Debo is determined to knock Craig out in the rematch that follows. The family of Craig, in order to remain out of Debo's way, determines that Craig should go live with his Uncle Elroy and his cousin Day-Day in Rancho Cucamonga... yet trouble appears to find him there as well.
