Mystery of the Wax Museum

The sculptor Ivan Igor attempts in vain to stop his partner from torching his wax museum and his "children." Years later, Igor establishes a new museum in New York, but his crippled hands prevent him from directing any artists of note. People begin to vanish; Igor develops an ominous interest in Charlotte, the fiancée of his aide Ralph, but arouses the suspicions of his roommate, the witty reporter Florence.
