My Kingdom
The Prince Regent of the Qing Dynasty executes the Meng clan in the 19th century. The chieftain pledges his family will avenge his beheading. Erkui, a 5-year-old Meng child, valiantly sings an aria before his death. His voice moves opera great Master Yu and his 7-year-old pupil Guan Yilong. Master Yu rescues the boy, and the two are brothers. Master Yu wins the golden "Mightiest Warrior" plaque from the Prince Regent, but loses it to Master Yue in a duel. Master Yu trains two brothers in the hamlet after being banished from the stage. When the boys become men, they seek retribution in Shanghai. They easily beat Master Yue in Shanghai, capturing the plaque and his opera group.
