My Evil Stepdad
Kind-hearted Ashley, who is worried that her widowed mother Tracy will be lonely when she goes away to college, establishes a dating profile anonymously for her mother on an online dating website. There, she finds Jared, who appears to be the ideal companion for Tracy. As soon as Tracy "accidentally" meets Jared and the two fall in love, Ashley is relieved to see her mother happy. However, as soon as Jared moves in, he begins doing anything he can to block Ashley out of their new existence, and she becomes increasingly concerned about her mother's well-being. It is rapidly made clear that if Ashley does nothing to stop Jared from controlling Tracy, it will result in disastrous outcomes, and she must find a method to bring Jared to justice in order to prevent this from happening.
