Duke Red has supervised the construction of a colossal Ziggurat in order to expand his influence throughout the entire world. Tima, a robot-girl constructed in the image of his departed daughter, is at the center of his designs. She meets and befriends Kenichi, a youngster who has journeyed to Metropolis with his detective uncle in search of a scientist wanted for organ trafficking, after escaping the Duke's grasp in a laboratory fire. Will her friendship with Kenichi and discovery of the truth about her existence alter her fate?
