Me, Natalie

Natalie Miller has been convinced she is a "ugly duckling" since she was a toddler. Natalie has never thought that she will be attractive when she grows up, despite her mother's assurances that she will. After renting an apartment from an eccentric landlady in Greenwich Village, she accepts a position at the Topless Bottom Club. She commutes to work on a motorcycle, decorates her loft with a moose head, and travels to her flat by a dumbwaiter that she rides up and down. Natalie meets David, an artist, while she is there, and the two enjoy a brief love affair before Natalie discovers that he is married.
