Marty
Marrying at 34 is Marty, a butcher who lives in the Bronx with his mother and works as a butcher. A pleasant but socially uncomfortable individual, he is constantly badgered by family and friends to tie the knot, but he has reluctantly accepted the fact that he will remain single forever. Marty meets Clara, an unattractive school teacher, and after realizing their emotional connection, he promises to call her. However, his family and friends try to persuade him otherwise.
