Man on the Roof

A police officer gets killed by a bayonet while in the hospital. During the investigation, Martin Beck's team discovered that the man often abused suspects and bystanders, but that any complaints had been overlooked because of the mistaken allegiance of his coworkers. In order to prevent further tragedies, Beck must act immediately to put an end to the killer's rage.
