In the early 1800s, a gang of fur trappers and Indian traders return to civilization with their products in an attempt to avoid the approaching winter. When guide Zachary Bass gets hurt by a bear, the group decides he's doomed and abandons him to die. Instead, when he wakes up, he swears vengeance on them and sets out to find them and their paranoid expedition commander.
