Brian Cohen is a young Jewish man who is considered to be typical; but, due to a chain of absurd occurrences, he comes to be known as the Messiah. The story is replete with the trademark craziness of Monty Python, and it finds Brian's life to be a mirror to the stories from the Bible, albeit with a lot more laughter.
