The documentary Life in the Doghouse portrays the heartwarming story of Danny & Ron's Rescue, a canine rescue organization. The organization was founded by life partners Ron Danta and Danny Robertshaw, who were inspired to take action after Hurricane Katrina left hundreds of canines stranded and abandoned. They established a temporary dog refuge in their home, and ten years later, they have sheltered and rescued over 10,000 of these furry pups from shelters all over the world.
